The Zwift Off The MAAP Tour ADL 2025 Competition
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General
1. This competition is being conducted by MAAP Co Pty Ltd, 204 Ingles St, Port Melbourne, 3207, Victoria, Australia, ABN - 31 608 799 631 (MAAP).
2. Instructions on how to enter and other details contained within promotional advertisements for the competition form part of the conditions of entry.
3. By entering the competition, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Prize Details & Conditions
4. 1 competition winner will receive a trip to the first World Tour race of 2025 in Adelaide SA, Australia including: two return flights from winners location courtesy of MAAP, one for the winner and one for a companion, plus 5 days / 4 nights hotel accommodation in Adelaide for two January 22 - 26th. The prize is valued up to AUD $19,500.00.
5. The total prize pool is valued at AUD $22,750.00 [ £11,700.00 / €14,000.00 / $14,750.00 USD ]
6. All prizes are non-transferable.
7. All prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
8. All other costs and expenses associated with each prize, beyond the specified prize components, will be the responsibility of the winners.
9. The winners will be responsible for any and all taxes incurred in relation to the receipt of the prizes.
10. Substitute prizes will not be available, should the winners be unable to use prizes at the allocated time.
11. MAAP may, at any time or for any reason at its absolute discretion, substitute a different prize of equal value in place of any prize referred to in these terms and conditions.
Competition Duration
13. The competition will commence at 00:01 AEDT on December 16, 2024 (Commencement Date).
14. Entries for this competition will close at 23:59 AEDT on December 22, 2024 (Closing Date).
15. No late entries will be eligible to enter the competition.
Eligibility & Method of Entry
16. The competition is only open to Zwift Off The MAAP Tour 2024 challenge “finishers” in the following regions: Albania, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Guatemala, Guernsey, Hong Kong SAR China, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Man, Israel, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao SAR China, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vietnam.
17. An entrant may enter once only.
18. All entrants must be over 18 years old.
19. Employees, contractors and agents of MAAP and Zwift and their related companies and their respective immediate families are ineligible to enter.
20. To enter, all entrants are required to answer a question determined by MAAP in 50 words or less and submit their answer here between the Commencement Date and the Closing Date inclusive.
Selection of Winners
21. The winners will be selected at 15:00 AEDT on December 23, 2024 at MAAP Co Pty Ltd, 204 Ingles St, Port Melbourne, 3207, Victoria, Australia.
22. This competition is a game of skill. The winners will be determined by the creativity and skill of their answer and not by any element of chance.
23. The winner of this competition must have completed all three stages of the Zwift Off The MAAP Tour.
24. MAAP's decision will be final and no debate or correspondence will be entered into after the decision has been made.
Winner Notification
25. The winners will be notified by telephone within 2 days and will receive confirmation in writing by email address as supplied when registering for the competition.
Unclaimed Prizes
26. The prize must be claimed within 2 business days of notification.
27. Where a prize is unclaimed, a new winner will be selected based on the creativity and skill of their answer at 15:00 AEDT on December 28, 2024 at MAAP Co Pty Ltd, 204 Ingles St, Port Melbourne, 3207, Victoria, Australia. The new winner of the prize will be notified by telephone within 2 business days and will receive confirmation in writing by email as supplied when registering for the competition.
Publicity
28. It is a condition of entry that MAAP has the right to publicize the winners for any promotion or other matter related to the competition.
29. MAAP may require winners to participate in a photosession. Winners acknowledge that MAAP has the right to use such photos in any medium (including, without limitation, the Internet), and in any manner it deems appropriate.
30. The winners agree to make themselves available for publicity purposes without charge.
Indemnity & Disclaimers
31. Subject to the consumer guarantees provided for in consumer protection legislation (including in the Australian Consumer Law), MAAP excludes to the fullest extent permitted by law all representations, warranties, conditions, guarantees and undertakings that would otherwise be implied in these terms and conditions by legislation, common law, equity, trade, custom or usage.
32. MAAP and its related companies or personnel will not be liable to any person for any loss or damage sustained or incurred: a) if, for any reason, the competition is suspended, varied or terminated at any time, with or without prior warning or publicity; b) arising from late, lost or misdirected entries; c) arising from a change in the value of the prize occurring between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed.
33. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all entrants release and indemnify MAAP and all of its related companies and personnel from and against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition, including loss of income, personal injury, damage to property, and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
34. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to MAAP and not to Facebook or Instagram. Facebook and Instagram will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained by an entrant as a result of participating in the competition (including taking/use of a prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Reserved Rights
35. MAAP reserves the right to exclude any person from this competition who, in MAAP's opinion, has tampered with the entry process, entered in a manner that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who has, in the opinion of MAAP, engaged in conduct in entering this competition which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the competition and/or MAAP.
Privacy Statement
36. On entering this competition, MAAP collects personal information (Information) of entrants, including [insert type of information collected including name, address, age, telephone number, facsimile number, post office box number and/or email address]. MAAP collects and uses the Information to conduct this competition including to contact the winners of the competition, and for promotional and marketing purposes. MAAP may use the Information to publish the results of the
competition in local newspapers or on the Internet (including via social media). If an entrant does not wish to provide Information which is required, MAAP may not be able to properly register the entrant for the competition or perform any other functions relating to the competition or only perform them to a limited extent. MAAP may disclose the Information to its service providers, who may provide some services in relation to this competition directly to entrants on MAAP's behalf.
MAAP is unlikely to transfer the Information outside of Australia. The Information collected by MAAP in connection with this competition is separate from, and without prejudice to, any other personal information concerning entrants collected and held by MAAP. MAAP collects, holds, uses and discloses the Information in accordance with its Privacy Policy which is available at www.maap.cc. MAAP's Privacy Policy contains further information about how MAAP handles the Information. This includes information on how entrants can seek to access and/or correct the Information that MAAP holds about them as required by law and make a complaint about the way the Information is being handled by MAAP and how MAAP will deal with complaints.
