ERAS
The history of cycling is as rich as it is deep, with icons in every era, from the first Tour de France to today’s heroes. Inspired by pioneers past and present, vote to choose which design will become the new MAAP x The Cycling Podcast jersey available for purchase later in 2022. All voters get a chance to win a full set of MAAP x TCP kit, including the winning jersey, a cap, bidon and socks.

A callback to the knitted woollen apparel of one of cycling’s golden ages, and the ambition to be different from the block colours that dominated the peloton, while still working within the tight confines of the technology of the day. On a background of British racing green, this first design is a characterisation of heroism and heritage.

The eighties was a vibrant decade, and cycling was no exception. Pro team jerseys moved with the times and after wool came more form-fitting fabrics and bright printed designs. This jersey taps into a proto digital aesthetic as well as the new possibilities for expression that coloured ink and printing offered designers.
