The Taipei LaB is a place for the local MAAP community to connect. A space for product, coffee, rides, conversation and a shared obsession with cycling - delivered through an experience that feels considered, elevated and distinctly MAAP.

We’re looking for a Retail Store Manager to lead it.

Someone who sets the standard. Who understands that retail is detail, energy and experience - not just transactions. Who can lead a team, build a strong store culture and create a space people want to return to.

You will

• Manage and take full accountability for delivering the MAAP retail experience by engaging, developing, maintaining and growing relationships with customers and the wider Taipei cycling community
• Champion a sales-driven culture and lead from the front, upholding the highest customer and brand experience standards
• Hire, train, develop and lead a retail team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to deliver an exceptional experience
• Deliver financial results and achieve sales, margin and inventory targets by optimising retail KPIs
• Maintain the highest visual merchandising standards, ensuring MAAP VM guidelines are executed daily
• Stay across seasonal launches and product knowledge, ensuring the team can confidently speak to technical features and benefits
• Manage store rostering in line with wage budgets and sales performance
• Oversee inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels and strong product availability
• Lead and support LaB rides, community engagement and local activations
• Build strong connections within Taipei’s cycling and broader cultural community, helping the LaB remain relevant and locally engaged

You bring

• Demonstrated retail experience within fashion, sportswear or a similar environment, with strong store or team management capability
• Confident leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and align a team around shared goals
• Exceptional customer service and selling capability
• Strong visual merchandising experience and attention to detail
• A self-motivated, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
• The ability to think strategically while executing day-to-day retail operations
• A proven track record of delivering results, driving sales and building high-performing teams
• A passion for delivering a world-class retail experience
• A genuine interest in cycling, fashion, music and Taipei’s cultural landscape
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
