MAAP LaB Hong Kong is an experiential retail store that presents the very best of MAAP products in an elevated environment, and provides a space for creative dialogue and collaboration with the local community, extending the cultural influence and audience of the MAAP brand. 

Our Hong Kong LaB is a meeting place for the MAAP community. Inside you’ll find the latest MAAP product range, a coffee hub serving the finest brews, and the space will host events and weekly shop rides. 

MAAP continues to blur the space between fashion and sport, and you could be part of this journey, bringing to life our retail experience focused on merging aesthetics and performance. 

THE ROLE 

Key responsibilities: 

• Assist in delivering the MAAP retail experience by engaging, developing, maintaining, and growing relationships with our customers and the wider community. 
• Champion a sales-driven culture while focusing on the highest customer and brand experience standards. 
• Assist in delivering financial results and achieving sales and retail KPIs.
• Maintain the highest visual merchandising standards, ensuring MAAP VM guidelines are actioned daily. 
• Know and follow all store policies, procedures and operating systems
• Daily operations of the store, including but not limited to opening, closing and inventory processing. 
• Keep up to date with MAAP seasonal launches and product information, ensuring the team is informed on all new technical features and benefits. 
• Provide support for LaB rides, community engagement and activations. 

THE CANDIDATE 

The ideal Retail Sales Assistant will have the following skills and qualities:

• Demonstrated retail experience in a fashion, sportswear or similar environment
• Excellent customer service and selling skills 
• Excellent merchandising skills 
• Ability to work in a team in the pursuit of common goals 
• Self-motivated and self-confident 
• Proven ability to deliver results, drive sales and achieve team success
• A keen interest in cycling, fashion, music and Hong Kong culture
