We have a new and exciting career opportunity for a Product Developer - Apparel to join our talented and high performing Product team, reporting to our Product Design & Development Manager.

Graphic capsules are a critical part of MAAP’s assortment each season. As a part of our Colour & Graphics team, we are looking for a mid-level product developer who understands the DNA of our brand, loves cycling products and can take end to end ownership of our graphic capsules.

This role will be responsible for working alongside our Graphic Designers, applying graphic concepts to seasonal cycling apparel drops and managing these designs through our critical path.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Demonstrated experience in Apparel Design
  • An eye for colour and graphics
  • Understanding of sublimation printing
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Exceptional time management skills, working to a critical path

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Interpreting option plans, briefs and direction provided by our Product Managers.
  • Working alongside our Graphic Designers both briefing in graphic stories, and then working with artwork they deliver to create resolved product ranges.
  • Building out graphic concepts, applying graphics to apparel & accessories, sizing artwork and creating new colourways, to build cohesive product stories that fulfill design briefs.
  • Managing range boards & maintaining accurate CAD’s.
  • Working with Designers, and Colourists to ensure cohesive merchandising, and working through lab dip and strike off submissions.
  • Completing, maintaining Bill Of Materials and to-scale artwork in PLM system.
  • Working alongside a Garment Tech on graphic placement and reviewing graphic positioning on body in fit sessions.
