Position Scope: 

MAAP is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Marketing Production Manager to join our fast-paced, dynamic global marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production process of marketing materials for all global marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring high-quality deliverables that are completed on time and within budget. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong cross-functional project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the business.

Key Qualities: 

The position requires an individual with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in creative production, marketing, or project management, preferably within the sports or apparel industry.
  • Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns and creative projects.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality of creative output, from initial concept through to final production.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience managing budgets and negotiating with vendors.
  • The ability to lead and inspire creative teams, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to foster professional growth and development.
  • A genuine passion for creativity and innovation, with a commitment to staying current with industry trends and best practices.
  • The ability to stay motivated and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges and tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinker, collaborator and tastemaker. 

Position Responsibilities 

  • Project Management & GTM Campaign Process: Oversee the production process for all marketing projects across all MAAP channels (Owned Digital, Paid, Social, Retail, Wholesale, etc.) from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Creative Development: Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to support the development of innovative concepts and ideas for world-class marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Creative, Sales, Retail and other internal cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment across all key departments and department leaders to execute holistic marketing programs.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all marketing and creative outputs align with MAAP’s brand standards and guidelines, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers to secure resources and manage outsourced production work.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective solutions.
  • Timeline Management: Create and maintain detailed production schedules and meetings, tracking progress and ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and address potential production challenges, finding creative solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Global Marketing Operations: Working across Marketing, Creative and Product, drive MAAP’s Global Marketing GTM process to bring all stakeholders along in delivering effective marketing work on time across all core channels. Managing the Global marketing calendar, keeping global and local marketing and cross-functional teams abreast of future marketing activities and opportunities connected to relevant global and regional product, business and cultural moments.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing production, and proactively recommend innovative approaches to drive continuous improvement.
  • Actively survey the market to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities, and use this information to inform marketing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including data protection and advertising standards, in all marketing activities.
  • The Director of Global Marketing & GTM must take on a brand guardian role and be prepared to act as an official representative of MAAP with members of the community
  • The roles and responsibilities of this position are fluid and subject to change. The role shall perform other tasks as directed and discussed.
