As we grow globally, we’re looking for a European Marketing & Events Contractor to represent MAAP at major cycling events and retail locations across Europe. This role involves coordinating brand activations, engaging with local cycling communities, and ensuring MAAP is highly visible and well-represented. As a brand ambassador, you’ll help maintain the high standards that define MAAP.

Reporting to our EU/UK Marketing Manager, this role is an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension based on business needs, based in the Amsterdam area with extensive travel across the EU and UK.

ABOUT YOU:

• You have proven experience in event marketing, brand activation or field marketing, preferably within the cycling or outdoor industry space.
• Strong knowledge and passion for cycling culture and events.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and remotely.
• Ability to travel extensively across Europe for the duration of the contract.
• Creative and adaptable to work in diverse locations and cultural contexts.
• A creative mindset with a keen eye for visual presentation and content creation.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Represent MAAP at major cycling events and community activations with Wholesale partners, Ambassadors and MAAP LaBs (our retail stores).
• Coordinate and execute event activations that drive brand awareness and engagement via local community activations.
• Ensure seamless event setup and breakdown, maintaining high-quality brand presentation.
• Capture content from events for marketing purposes.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

• Must have a full and valid driver’s license and ability to manage travel logistics independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing circumstances.
• Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a bonus.
