THE ROLE
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, you will be a central figure in ensuring MAAP’s digital campaigns, content, and marketing initiatives are coordinated, deployed, and analysed on time and to a high standard. This is a hybrid role, with four days a week in our Melbourne HQ.
You will operate at the intersection of performance, creative, and project delivery, acting as a crucial support function for the entire marketing team. This is not a specialist role; rather, you'll be a cross-functional project coordinator, making sure every marketing function—including SEO, email, paid media, and creative—runs on time, on brand, and on brief.
Your responsibilities will include:
- CRM, Email & SMS Marketing: Coordinating Klaviyo campaigns, flows, and A/B testing.
- Content Marketing & SEO: Coordinating SEO briefs, content production, blog planning, and overseeing collaboration with our SEO agency.
- Paid Media & Performance: Supporting Meta, Google Ads, and YouTube campaigns, as well as facilitating analytics and reporting.
- Website & eCommerce Experience: Coordinating web updates and managing QA for landing pages.
- Project & Stakeholder Management: Ensuring internal teams (Creative, eCommerce, Retail) and external agency partners are aligned and on schedule using tools like Asana and Slack.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be a highly detail-oriented and organised individual with a background in digital marketing. We're looking for someone with a proven track record of facilitating marketing campaigns and managing timelines.
Key qualities and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience: 2+ years in a digital marketing role, either agency or brand-side.
- Skills: Strong project coordination, impeccable time management, and excellent stakeholder communication skills are a must.
- Technical Familiarity: An understanding of key marketing platforms, including Klaviyo, Shopify, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and project management tools like Asana.
- Conceptual Understanding: A grasp of performance marketing funnels, retention strategies, and the eCommerce user journey.
- Bonus: A genuine interest in cycling, sports, or performance lifestyle brands is a significant plus.
