Our newest LaB in Sydney will be a meeting place for the MAAP community. Inside you’ll find the latest MAAP product range, a coffee hub serving the finest brews, and the space will host events and weekly shop rides.

MAAP continues to blur the space between fashion and sport, and you could be part of this journey, bringing to life our retail experience focused on merging aesthetics and performance.

THE ROLE

Key responsibilities:

- Deliver a premium coffee experience, with a rotation of speciality coffee roasters

- Deliver our MAAP customer experience across coffee and retail sales in a dine-in-only coffee environment

- Champion sales and lead from the front as part of the retail team

- Keep up to date with MAAP seasonal launches and product information

- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, meeting all food and beverage preparation guidelines

- Assist in the day-to-day operations to achieve sales, wage, and expense budgets

- Take ownership of the purchasing, planning, running and management of the coffee bar within MAAP LaB Sydney

- Deliver the unique MAAP experience by engaging, developing, maintaining, and growing relationships with our customers and the broader community on products, pre & post rides and during special events

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Barista / Sales Assistant will have the following skills and qualities:

- Experience in various methods of coffee preparation is expected

- Proven experience of working in a busy coffee environment

- Excellent customer service and selling skills

- A passion for delivering a world-class customer experience both in coffee and retail

- A keen interest in cycling, fashion, and Sydney culture
