Recapping The Equinox

Apr.17 2025

Two hemispheres. One rhythm.

As sure as day follows night, the Equinox Experience was back in our sights, and this time, we rode further, pushed harder, and chased that light like never before.

The Earth hit its solar slingshot, and you all followed its arc. During one week in March, riders across time zones, terrains, and collective steeds rolled out together to celebrate a perfect moment of equilibrium: 12 hours of light from sunup to sundown, and a ton of great stories that unfolded in between.

We could remind you of the science of the Equinox—the sun aligning with the equator, the poetic symmetry of our planet in motion. But you already know the score. This ride wasn’t about astronomy—it was about movement, endurance, and the sheer joy of the chase. From sunrise rollouts to sunset finishes, The Equinox Experience was massive, and you all made it seismic.

Chasing Light, Pushing Limits.

Let’s give credit where it’s due. Whether you hit full flight through the humidity of KL, carved springtime switchbacks in Spain, or rode the golden hours through Melbourne’s fresh autumn glow—you showed up. You put in the KMs. You embraced the challenge. And whether you aimed for speed, distance, or simply the experience itself, one thing was certain: when you hit that 12-hour mark, you weren’t alone. Somewhere across the world, another rider was chasing the light with you.

For some, this was about personal records, breaking barriers, and stretching the edges of endurance. For others, it was about the experience itself—soaking in every pedal stroke, every shifting shadow, every new perspective as the sun shot across the sky. Whatever the reason, wherever the ride, you were part of something bigger.

And speaking of bigger—we captured it. This year, The Equinox Experience followed the story of MAAP Rider Signe Koch, pushing the limits on two wheels as she chased the clock. If you’re looking for some inspiration ahead of our September Equinox rides rolling out later this year, Signe’s journey is a great place to start. See how it all went down in our latest short reel.

So, whether you used the Equinox as the ultimate endurance test or as your starting line for longer, brighter days ahead, you were part of something special. The rhythm was set. The road was calling. And together? Yeah, you smashed it.
And a final nod to our new Aeon collection. Long hours in the saddle demand gear that moves with you, breathes when needed, and stays ultra-comfortable as the KMs clock up. It’s the new collection many riders, including Signe, relied on this Equinox—kit designed to crush comfort levels and extend your time on the bike. Because days like these aren’t measured only in distance but in the moments shared on the ride.
