12 hours. 60 rides. 1 euphoric moment.
The Equinox returned, so we went BIG...
The sun, the equator, and a global cycling community teamed up for round two of The Equinox Experience. The third week of September arrived with a bang, and what better excuse did we need to fly back on our saddles to chase the light for another 12 hours?
First things first—we could drop the whole sun crossing the equator spiel on you again, but if you're reading this and rode with us, you're already clued in. Equal parts day, equal parts night, The Equinox is that two-time-a-year perfect balance between light and dark. But instead of standing in awe under the cosmos, you took it as a challenge for some epic feats of endurance. And once again, or perhaps for the first time, you brought your energy into the Equinox Experience.
Let's start by giving props where they're due. Whether tackling the equatorial heat from Jakarta to Singapore, catching a sunrise in Shanghai or San Fran, or winding through those early autumn days across Europe, you showed up. You rolled out. You pushed through every kilometer in perfect equilibrium with the world.
For some, this ride was about speed—those who gunned it through every flat stretch like there was no tomorrow. For others, it was the long, steady climbs, conquering vert with verve, inch by inch, until the summit greeted them with a golden glow of the day completed. But no matter the pace, or the number or rides across the week, one thing was certain—when you hit that 12-hour mark, you weren't alone. Somewhere on the other side of the world, another rider was sharing the exact same moment, chasing the light just like you.
And here's where the magic happens. It wasn't just about the sun, the time, or even the distance—this was about connection. You got out there and rode in sync with thousands of cyclists across continents. Every turn of the wheel was a celebration of a shared spirit. And what better way to celebrate than us cutting a short film to document this outstanding collective achievement. Until next time people, aim big, stay in balance, get out there, and keep chasing that light.
