MAAP x GreenEDGE Cycling: The Future’s FAST

This year's ADL was more than a homecoming—it was our launchpad into the UCI WorldTour with GreenEDGE Cycling—Team Jayco AlUla and Liv AlUla Jayco. These teams represent the very best of pro cycling, inspiring the next generation to push forward. Unveiling this partnership to Adelaide and the world was an absolute honour for all involved. We dropped the news along with the kit, and the town was painted in a green and purple haze. The rep was true. The hype was real.

The Racing Ran HOT

Liv AlUla Jayco kicked off the Women's WorldTour in style, with Silke Smulders delivering silk, steel and speed to lock in podium finishes on Stages 2 and 3 and securing 2nd place overall in the GC. Tasmania's Georgia Baker followed up with a thrilling 2nd place at the Schwalbe One-Day Classic, leading a ferocious sprint down King William Road in a blistering 90km circuit race.

Over in the men's race, Team Jayco AlUla showed grit and determination in abundance, with Aussie hero Luke Plapp securing 6th in the overall GC and a standout 4th place on the iconic Stage 5. As Plappy said, "I'll be the king of Willunga one day!"—and who wouldn’t back that happening. Special props to Suisse Mauro Schmid too, who smashed the hills to finish 2nd in the KOM classification. Europe, you're next—watch out for more to come on the WorldTour throughout the year.

As for the rest of the action, what a week! The pop-up with our partners Specialized was packed, the daily rides were all-out buzzing, and the Willunga Hill party cranked the decibels to 11. And who could miss the MAAP Kanga ‘Bonk’, bouncing back in action loving their natural habitat, as the racing got the crowd going wild.

To everyone who rode hard, partied harder, or just brought the vibes—you legends made this edition of ADL one for the ages. Thank you for sharing the love of bikes and making it unforgettable. And now, the countdown is on—352 days until the 2026 Tour Down Under. But before then, It's gonna be a hell of a ride...
