London’s a confluence of longstanding cycling traditions and new cultural happenings. Being on the bike here means sliding through traffic and avoiding the stuffy and hot Underground Stations as you train in the park before work, take part in the weekly mass pilgrimage to Box Hill or break away from the city and into open roads with the space you need to clear your head and let it rip.

The first 50 riders that register for the ride will receive a free limited-edition and London-specific cap.

WHITE DOWN RIDE

Total distance: 71.2km | Elevation gain: 905m

Meet for coffee at Sigma Sports (37-43 Hampton Wick) at 8am before we all roll out together at 8.30am. We’ll take a spin through the Surrey Hills, so get ready for a punchy ride through picturesque roads and challenging climbs. The first ascent is a steady climb up Shere Hill, which is followed by a series of short kickers in quick succession before tackling the main climb of the day, Whitedown. With sections topping out at 18%, the relatively flat 30 kilometres back to the Sigma Sports store will be a welcome ‘cool down’ to a tough yet fun route.
