With a subtropical climate that most cities would kill for, Brisbane offers fantastic all year riding. From relaxing spins along the river that bears its name, to quaint coastal towns or hilly climbs out west, cycling is well catered for in Australia’s “sunshine state” capital.

The first 50 riders that register for the ride will receive a free limited-edition and Brisbane-specific cap.

BUNYA BRISBANE BRAMBLE

Total distance: 93.46km | Elevation gain: 1,227m

An early start from Semi-Racer to avoid the Queensland heat, we head west towards Samford. Looping around the village, things start getting lumpy on Bunya Road including the Bunya Cemetery climb. The appropriately named Jinker Track intersects the conservation park, beginning the journey north-east towards Bramble Bay. We then head for home, back to Semi-Racer for a well earned coffee and pastry.

Please note: To participate, riders will need to provide a Bicycling Queensland Membership or Cycling Australia Licence Number.
