THE ROLE
As a Junior Graphic Designer at MAAP, you’ll play an important supporting role within our Creative Team. Working under the guidance of the Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll assist in the creation and delivery of design assets that bring our brand to life across digital, print, and retail environments.
You’ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects—from campaign creative to e-commerce —while learning to work within established brand systems and evolving your own creative skillset. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, detail-focused designer eager to grow within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Senior Graphic Designer and wider creative team in developing visual assets for:
*eCommerce and digital marketing (EDMs, social, paid media)
*Product and brand campaigns
*Retail environments, signage, and in-store experiences
*Packaging, editorial layouts, and lookbooks
- Assisting with artwork production, file preparation, and rollout of design elements across channels
- Maintaining consistency and attention to detail within the brand’s established visual identity
- Participating in brainstorming, moodboarding, and concept development
- Supporting the Creative team with general design tasks, revisions, and asset exports
- Helping to ensure all creative is delivered on time and aligns with project briefs
THE CANDIDATE
- 1–2 years experience in a similar design role, or recent graduate with strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Understanding of layout, typography, and visual storytelling principles
- Understanding of photo editing and retouching
- Eagerness to learn, take direction, and apply feedback
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work across multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Enthusiasm for cycling, streetwear, or performance fashion (a plus)
The following skills and experience will be highly regarded:
- Familiarity with motion design, After Effects, or Premiere Pro
- Interest in photography, illustration, or other creative disciplines
- Experience with lifestyle or performance apparel brands
- Passion for cycling or active lifestyle culture
