We’re proud to bring you our collaboration with Ella CyclingTips. Ella (Spanish for ‘her’) is the sister site of the popular CyclingTips, the site we did our first collaboration with 12 months ago.
Ella has been around since February 2015, and in that time has been integral in growing the coverage of women’s racing, as well as promoting participation in local communities and empowering more women to get on bikes.
A big moment for us in mid-2015 was the release of our collaboration with CyclingTips, the Echappee kit. It was our first big collaboration and we were blown away to see people wearing the kit all over the world.
So when the team at CyclingTips came to us and asked us to be involved with the Ella collaboration it was an easy decision. It comes at the perfect time for us as we expand our women’s range.
Editor of Ella, Anne-Marije Rook explains “We have been a fan of the striking designs by the Melbourne-based brand, MAAP for a while now. And we're stoked to see the launch of their new women's cycling apparel range. It was a natural step for us to partner with them for our first women’s kit collaboration as well.
The design of this kit is important to us because it's what draws you in and it's what gets you excited about wearing the kit. The design is eye catching, flattering and simply, fun. Equally important is the quality, fit and comfort of the kit. With MAAP's already proven quality and their new women's chamois, we think this will be your next favourite kit you'll want to wear ride after ride.“
We always planned to do more women’s wear and we’re really happy with the new range. To offer thermal long sleeve jerseys and women’s specific warmers and vests gives us a solid offering and means women can stay within the brand.
